Some fun facts
What inspired you to become a dentist?
When I was six, my older brother gave me a dentist Barbie for Christmas. While my friends dreamed of becoming astronauts or actresses, I proudly declared I wanted to be a dentist. That childhood spark grew stronger as I got older — especially during high school, when I started interning at dental offices. I experienced firsthand how a healthy, confident smile can change someone’s life. I knew I wanted a career where I could work with my hands and make a lasting impact — and dentistry turned out to be the perfect fit.
If you weren’t a dentist, what would you be doing?
If I hadn’t pursued dentistry, I’d likely be an interior designer. I’ve always loved the creative process and the satisfaction that comes with attention to detail — whether it’s choosing finishes or crafting the perfect smile. Since moving to Burr Ridge, I’ve enjoyed updating our home one room at a time, and that same passion for thoughtful design influences my work every day.
What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I grew up on a farm in rural Indiana, where my dad and brother still raise Black Angus cattle and grow crops. I didn’t spend much time in the fields myself, but the values I learned there stuck with me. My dad’s quiet persistence and strong work ethic taught me the importance of doing things the right way — a lesson I carry into every patient interaction.
I’m passionate about combining clinical excellence with personal connection — helping patients feel confident in their smile and comfortable in their care.
