Dr. Brown is a general dentist with expertise in cosmetic, restorative, and pediatric dentistry. A lifelong member of the Hinsdale community, she earned her Bachelor of Science from Miami University before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. During her academic career, she was active on local and national executive boards and received multiple honors for her leadership and dedication to the profession.
Professional Leadership and Affiliations
Board-certified through the Northeast Regional Board, Dr. Brown has built a respected career combining clinical excellence with professional service. She made history as the first female president of the West Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society and currently serves on the Scientific Programs Committee as well as the Mediation and Peer Review Committees. Dr. Brown is also a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and Seattle Study Club. In addition to her practice, she holds hospital privileges at Adventist Hinsdale and LaGrange Hospitals.
Community Involvement and Personal Life
Giving back has always been central to Dr. Brown’s mission. She has provided care abroad through the Miracle Corner of the World Organization in Songea, Tanzania, and continues to serve locally through the Dental Lifeline Network’s Donated Dental Services program. Dr. Brown lives in the Hinsdale area with her husband, John, and their three children. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.

What made you want to become a dentist?
I’ve wanted to be a dentist since I was five years old. Dentistry combines two things I love: working with people and using my hands to create and restore. Helping patients feel confident about their smiles is truly rewarding.
If you weren’t a dentist, what career would you have pursued?
I’d love to work for an auction house—I’ve always been fascinated by art, history, and the excitement of the bidding world.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Traveling with my family and exploring new places together.
